DLC Switchable Film Installation at the Titleist Performance Institute delivered with Bycor General Contractors

Project Overview

At the training facility of the Titleist Performance Institute, large storefront glazing was designed to flood the interior training rooms with natural daylight. However, the same transparency created a challenge: during sessions, presentations, and internal programs, the entire space remained fully visible from outside—especially at night when interior lighting amplified visibility.

The goal was to maintain the architectural openness of the façade while introducing instant, on-demand privacy without blinds, curtains, or visual clutter.

PriWatt™ DLC (Dispersed Liquid Crystal) switchable film was installed directly onto the exterior glazing, turning the glass itself into an intelligent privacy system.

This integration was executed in coordination with Bycor General Contractors, whose construction planning and trade coordination made it possible to embed this technology seamlessly into the finished building.
