PriWatt PDLC transforms from transparent to private in milliseconds, providing instant privacy for commercial, healthcare, hospitality, residential, and institutional environments.

PriWatt PDLC smart glass uses an advanced liquid crystal interlayer laminated between two pieces of safety glass.
When power is applied, liquid crystal molecules align to create a clear, transparent appearance. When power is removed, the crystals scatter light, transforming the glass into a bright white privacy state.
The result is instant privacy without sacrificing daylight, aesthetics, or design flexibility.

Switch between transparent and private in milliseconds.

Maintain bright, daylight-filled interiors while preserving privacy.

Reduce or eliminate the need for blinds, curtains, and shades.

Create adaptable environments for changing privacy requirements.

Block harmful ultraviolet radiation to protect occupants and interior finishes.

Laminated construction helps reduce sound transmission.

No moving parts, cords, or fabric systems to clean or replace.

Privacy built into the glass, with nothing added in front of it.
PriWatt PDLC (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal) glass consists of billions of microscopic liquid crystal droplets dispersed within a polymer matrix. When electrical power is applied, the liquid crystals align, allowing light to pass through and creating a transparent glass panel. When power is removed, the crystals return to a random orientation, scattering light and producing a translucent privacy state—all within milliseconds.

PDLC glass contains billions of microscopic liquid crystal droplets embedded within a polymer matrix between two conductive ITO layers.
When electrical power is applied, the liquid crystals align, allowing visible light to pass through with high clarity. When power is removed, the crystals return to a random orientation, scattering light and creating a translucent privacy state while still transmitting daylight.

From electrical performance to optical clarity, PriWatt PDLC is engineered to meet the performance requirements of commercial, healthcare, hospitality, and residential applications.

Key Benefits:
PDLC stands for Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal. It is a switchable privacy technology that transitions from a translucent privacy state to a transparent state when electrical power is applied.
Liquid crystal molecules align when powered, allowing light to pass through. When power is removed, the crystals scatter light to create privacy.
