Request a quote for your project

Sizes are enough to start, and a photograph with the dimensions written on it works as well as a drawing. Fill in the form and a PriWatt specialist comes back with a quotation and a date. Drawings and photographs go to sales@priwatt.us, before or after you send this.

The more you can tell us about the openings, the closer the first number will be. Drawings and photographs go to sales@priwatt.us, before or after you send this.

What the quotation covers

Enough to build from: every panel, the product, the transformer, the control and a delivery date. If a budget figure is all you need today, the ranges are published on the pricing page.

A PriWatt quotation coversWhat that means
Every panel, listedEach one with its size and shape. Maximum width runs from 57 to 72 in depending on the product, so a wider opening is split, and where the joint falls is worth agreeing early
The product, by nameWhich of the six, and what each panel looks like with the power off. Deciding now costs nothing. Changing it once the wiring is in costs a great deal
The transformerSized to the switchable area on each circuit. Where it sits is something to settle with your electrical contractor
The controlA wall switch, a touch panel, a remote, an app, or the building automation system. All five work, and the choice changes the wiring
A delivery dateTaken from the shop drawing, once the specification is settled. Manufacturing is the longer half of a switchable project
What is excludedThe mains supply, the framing, and the door gear on a moving leaf. Those belong to other trades, and the quotation says so

Five things that speed it up

All optional. Send the form without any of them and a specialist will simply ask.

  • Sizes, a drawing, or a photograph with the dimensions on it
  • Whether the glass is already in the building or still to be made. This one decides film against laminated glass
  • How the glass should look with the power off: clear, or private
  • Where it goes: a partition, a door, a window, a shower, a railing, a rooflight, a facade
  • When you need it on site

The third is the one people find hardest, because it sounds like a product choice when it is really a question about the room. Picture the space at three in the morning, with nobody there to switch anything. A lobby or a display window should be clear then, and that calls for reverse mode. A bathroom or a treatment room should be private, and that is standard mode.

Not ready for a quotation yet?

Any of these gets you further than waiting.

You just want a number

Published ranges per square foot for all six products, what moves a project up or down inside them, and the items a per-square-foot figure leaves out.

You would rather talk

Twenty minutes with a project specialist, at a time you choose. Confirmation and a calendar invitation come back straight away.

You are writing a specification

Every measured value in one table, plus thirteen documents (UL, SGCC, the test reports, the CSI spec and four CAD details) sent to the address you give.

You install or fabricate glass

That is a different conversation. There are four partner tracks, because an installer and an architect arrive with different first questions.

Before you send it

No. Dimensions are enough to start, and a photograph with the sizes written on it is enough to open a conversation. Drawings make the quotation more exact, but waiting for them usually costs more time than it saves.

No. The projects on this site run from four windows on a boat to 700 sq ft across an executive floor. One thing worth knowing: several small panels cost more per square foot than a few large ones. Same area, more edges, more busbars, more terminations.

PriWatt manufactures. Installation is handled by certified partners, or by your own glazier. A laminated switchable panel is glazed like any other laminated panel, and film goes onto a pane that is already fitted. The low-voltage connection is a defined scope; the mains supply belongs to an electrician.

The schedule comes out of the technical review and the shop drawings that begin every project, so it follows the specification and the size of the job. Manufacturing takes the longer half. The glass is made in Florida and never shipped in from overseas, and that is what keeps a switchable panel off a project’s critical path.

Yes. Samples and a technical consultation are available for qualified projects, so a client can switch the glass in their own hands. Ask for one in the message field.

A specialist reads it and replies. If something in the enquiry decides the product — the mode, the format, or a size that runs past the panel limits — it comes back as a question rather than an assumption. A quotation built on a guess is one that changes.

Lamination, electrical assembly and testing all happen in one building, so a technical question reaches somebody who can answer it. There is more on what is made where under manufactured in the USA, and the projects already delivered are under case studies.
