1. Overview
PriWatt ("we", "our" or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you provide while using our website, priwatt.us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and safeguard your information when you request product information, request technical documentation, register a warranty, submit an enquiry, or otherwise interact with our website and services.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide when completing a form, requesting a quote, registering a warranty, requesting technical documents or contacting us. That may include your name, company, email address, telephone number, project location, website, project details, and product or warranty registration information.
We also collect limited technical information automatically: browser type, device information, IP address, operating system, pages visited, referral source and general usage statistics.
3. How we use your information
Your information is used for legitimate business purposes: responding to enquiries and quote requests; sending the technical documentation you asked for; processing warranty registrations; providing customer and technical support; communicating about projects, orders and service requests; and improving our products and this website.
We do not sell, rent, trade or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
4. Communications
When you submit a form we reply to it — by email, and by telephone if you give us a number. Those replies concern the enquiry, quotation, documents, warranty or order you contacted us about.
We send marketing email only where you have asked for it, and every marketing message carries a way to stop receiving them. We do not send marketing text messages. You can opt out of any marketing communication at any time by replying to it or by contacting us at the address below.
5. Cookies, analytics and tracking
This site runs two analytics tools and one advertising pixel. Specifically:

| ChatGPT Ads pixel (OpenAI) | We advertise on ChatGPT, and this pixel is how we tell which of those ads led to an enquiry rather than to a page view. When you arrive from one of our ads the link carries a click reference, which the pixel keeps in a first-party cookie (__oppref) for 30 days. If you then submit a form, the pixel takes the contact details you typed, hashes them in your browser, and sends the hash — not the details themselves — so that OpenAI can match the enquiry to the click. It does not load if you have opted out as described in section 6. |
| Plerdy, on every page | A behaviour analytics tool. It records where people click, how far down a page they scroll and the order of the pages in a visit, and it is able to record a session for replay. It sets its own cookies. We use it to see which parts of a page get read and which get ignored. It does not load if you have opted out as described in section 6. |

6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We honour both. If your browser or an extension sends a Do Not Track header or a Global Privacy Control signal, this site loads none of the three tools listed in section 5 — not Google Analytics, not the ChatGPT Ads pixel and not Plerdy. No script is requested, no cookie is set by any of them, no contact detail is hashed or sent, and nothing about your visit is recorded or replayed. Nothing needs to be clicked and there is no banner to dismiss.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics everywhere using Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
7. Data security
We apply administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, misuse, alteration and disclosure. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your privacy rights
You may ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it where the law permits. Residents of US states with comprehensive privacy legislation may have further rights, including to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — which, as set out in section 3, is not something we do.
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We do not charge for it and we will not treat you differently for asking.
9. Third parties who process information for us
We use a small number of service providers, each of which processes information only to provide its service to us:
- Google Analytics — website measurement
- OpenAI — the advertising we buy on ChatGPT, and the measurement of it
- Plerdy — how pages on this site are used: clicks, scrolling and session recordings
- Calendly — the scheduler on the appointment page, and the record of a booking
- Kommo — the CRM that holds enquiries so we can answer them
- Resend — the service that delivers our email, including the documents you request
- Vercel — the platform that hosts this website
These providers operate under their own privacy policies and their own terms with us. We do not make your information available to anyone else for their own purposes.
10. Children
This is a business-to-business website and it is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices, our technology or the law. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
