A terrace that closes without anything being put up
The terrace was designed around the water and the skyline, and the railing was designed to disappear. Anything added to it for privacy (a screen, a curtain, a panel) would have been visible every hour of the day for the few when it was wanted.
Privacy that is not there until it is
PriWatt switchable glass went into the railing itself. Clear, the terrace keeps the panorama and the frameless line the architecture was drawn for. Switched, the glass frosts and the terrace becomes a private outdoor room, at a press, in the second it takes.
Nothing is stored, unrolled, drawn or folded away. The railing that provides the privacy is the railing that was going to be there anyway.
