PriWatt manufactures switchable glass and film in Pompano Beach, Florida, and delivers projects across the United States and Canada through installers. If you already fit glass, apply architectural film or hang partitions, this is the same work with a low-voltage connection at the end of it.
What the work actually is
Two kinds of job, and most partners do both.
Film onto existing glass. The pane stays where it is. The film is cut to the opening at the plant, arrives pre-wired, and is applied to the cleaned surface — closer to architectural window film than to glazing. The electrical work is low voltage: the busbar tail is run to a transformer, and the transformer to a switch.
Laminated panels. Glazed like any other laminated unit, with the wiring exit designed into the edge rather than added on site. Where the panel is heavy or high, that is a glazing crew rather than a film crew.
Neither is exotic. What separates a good switchable installation from a callback is the handling of the edge and the commissioning, and that is what the training covers.

Training and certification
Your team is trained and certified on the product before the first job — application, the edge detail, wiring and commissioning. Certification is per team, not per company letterhead.
Projects in your area
Certified installation partners are the first call for projects where they are. That is the point of the network, and it is why coverage is a factor in who is taken on.
The panel arrives ready
Cut to the opening, pre-wired, with shop drawings and the low-voltage detail. A technical review happens before anything is made, so what lands on site fits the opening that was measured.
Samples to close with
Samples and technical consultation for qualified projects, so a client can switch the glass in their own hand before they sign anything.
Short lead times
The glass is laminated and assembled in the USA rather than shipped in from overseas, which is what keeps a switchable panel off a project’s critical path.
A manufacturer to call
When a detail is unusual — a curve, a cut-out, a wiring run that does not want to go where it should — the answer comes from the people who made the panel.
What we look for
- A crew that already works on glass — glazing, architectural film, partitions or storefront
- A city or region where PriWatt has projects and no certified partner yet
- Someone to send to training, and the intention to keep them on switchable work
- The usual commercial ground: licensed, insured, and able to stand behind an installation
Electrical licensing is not usually the constraint — the panel runs on low voltage from a transformer — but the transformer’s supply is mains, and on a commercial job that is an electrician’s connection. Partners either carry that trade or work with one.
Questions installers ask
Either. We work through certified installation partners, and we also supply directly to a contractor or glazing team who install it themselves.
It covers application, the edge and wiring detail, and commissioning. Tell us the size of the team and where you are, and we will set it out — it is scheduled around the first project rather than run as a standing course.
The product carries a limited warranty; the terms are published in full on the warranty page, and a registered installation is what activates it. Failures at the busbar are what the patented anchoring exists to prevent.
Projects in a partner’s area are the partner’s first call. Ask about your region on the form — coverage is part of who gets taken on.
